Hello Roadies.

I have some exciting news for you all. Pre-season is just around the corner and on top of that all remaining Capitan positions have been filled! 

This season we are back with 4 teams, the Committee putting big efforts into recruitment across the off-season. We are not done yet though, the new fee structure will be released soon with a bonus $30 discount to all members that bring in a new Roadie. You both will need to pay for the full season and before round 3. More details to come…

The Captains for the upcoming season will be:

A Grade: Todd Andrews 

Todd has been around the club for many years now, joining us as a young lad and growing into the leader he is today. Todd has always had a club first attitude, helping out whenever it’s needed regardless of the grade. With Todd at the helm the A Grade this will be another strong performance upon returning to Section 2.

B Grade: Mark Richards

After completing his first season at the club Mark has put his hand up to do the B Grade. Richo is an absolute character, you are never exactly sure what he will say next but you know you’re in for a good laugh. Richo is also a fierce competitor on the cricket field with the ability to take this team a long way. 

C Grade: Scott Trowbridge 

Scott is entering his 3rd season at the club. With an always positive attitude on and off the field. Looking to build on what he has achieved at SRCC so far. Scott will be looking for a competitive Season 2019-20, and to put a newly learned cover drive to good use. 

D Grade: Stephen Badger 

Stephen is the youngest of this group but by no means can you hold that against him. Highly educated and driven to showcase his skills, it’s great to see Badger put his hand up. Badger wants to bring the fight back to our bottom side to build on and improve upon last year.

All Captains are in their first season at SRCC. As Skipper I urge all players to respect and listen to your Captains. The Committee has selected this Group as the best possible candidates and will back the Captains to achieve their goals.
