To all ASCA Club members and players,
On behalf of the Executive I have the pleasure of announcing that a silent auction is to be conducted between now and Trophy Presentation night Tuesday 26 April 2016. The bidding will be finalised on 26 April and the two winners will be announced.
Via SACA and SAMCA, we have been given two pieces of memorabilia (a shirt and a bat) signed by the Adelaide Strikers Team of 2015/2016, which we are prepared to offer to you. I will be running a silent auction of these two items. The highest bidder will obtain the pleasure of these memorabilia items.
Adelaide Strikers Team members 2015/2016 were – Brad Hodge (captain), Jono Dean, Travis Head, Jon Holland, Mahela Jayawardena, Alex Keath, Hamish Kingston, Ben Laughlin, Jake Lehmann, Tim Ludeman, Michael Neser, Gary Putland, Adil Rashid, Kane Richardson, Alex Ross, Craig Simmons, Kelvin Smith and Billy Stanlake.
Lot 1 : Shirt – Strikers shirt signed by all of the above players on the front there of.
Lot 2 : Bat – plane promotional bat, no stickers or makings whatsoever on the rear, all named above players’ signatures on the face.
Method of lodging a bid will be as follows. Each individual bidder will select a nom de plume so as to identify themselves. I will use the nom de plume to publicly announce the progress of the bidding. Progress of the bidding will be publicly released every Sunday Tuesday and Friday nights. The next highest bid will be selected by the date and time of your email received. Bids will only be taken via email and should be headed with the same subject heading as above. With your bid, please clearly identify which lot you are bidding on. As well as providing me with (a) a nom de plume, I also require (b) your name and (c) contact phone number. Should you not provide all of (a) (b) & (c) with each bid, your bid will not be accepted. Details of (b) & (c) will not be released publicly, they are only to be held by the convener for the duration of the auction. For privacy purposes, all emails received will be deleted after the conclusion of the auction. Such details will not be passed onto anyone. They will only be retained for the purpose of running this auction and will not be used for any other purpose. Lot 1 will commence at $50 and bids will be in $5 increments. Lot 2 will commence at $200 and bids will be in $20 increments. Any queries/discrepancies will be resolved by the convener of this auction and his decision shall be final.
The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to ASCA and will assist paying the costs incurred in this year’s junior and senior Inter Association games.
