A Grade Captain Announced

Hello Roadies,

I am contacting you all with good news. I am pleased to introduce this year’s A Grade Captain, Todd Andrews.

Firstly, I would like to thank Adrian Woolman for his contribution during the last two years as A Grade Captain. Adrian, you have helped to put SRCC back on the right track, thank you for your time and effort.

I know you will all get behind Todd. He is a familiar face around the club, having been a Roadie since he was 18 years old. This season marks his 7th year as a member of the SRCC, during which time he’s grown in leaps and bounds as a person and leader.

One of Todd’s best assets is the strong belief that we are a family, always making friends at the club regardless of the grade and welcoming all new comers. He is also a fiery competitor with the ability to inspire his team mates to go above and beyond what they thought possible themselves. Todd’s attitude fits in well with the committee’s vision for the upcoming season, and we believe this will help us further grow as a club.

I have this message from Todd to you all:

“Hey Roadies!

Firstly I want to say that this is a huge honour to be given such an amazing opportunity. I have already started preparing for the upcoming season, I hope to see everyone back out enjoying their cricket and competing each and every week. We have these amazing new facilities and nets and I aim to take full advantage of the luxury by revamping the social side of the club with team selection nights, presentations and functions.

Finally, I would like to let you know that I’m an open book and if you ever need someone to talk to, whether it’s cricket or just a chat I’m only a phone call away.

Again thank you and let’s have an amazing season!”

Over the coming weeks I will be naming the other captains. Please keep an eye out for further notifications.

Kind regards,

Aaron Schmidt
